Welcome to the official site for the 2010 Deep South Classic.

The tenth annual Deep South Classic will be presented by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau in April. The three-day event will be hosted by renowned universities - University of North Carolina and NC State University in the RDU area from Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 18, 2010.

The Deep South Classic brings together many of the nation's elite prep athletes during the only live recruiting period allowed by the NCAA. In past years, prep superstars such as Courtney Paris, Alana Beard, Erlana Larkins, Candace Parker, Noelle Quinn and Tiffany Jackson have played in the event.

The 2010 event will include eleven divisions - 17 Fila, 17 National , 17 Signature, 16 Fila, 16 National, 16 Signature 15 Fila, 15 National, 14Fila, 14 National, and 13 Fila . Each age group will include the top travel teams from across the country, featuring the top national teams. While considerable attention will be focused on the prospects in the Classes of 2011 through 2014. The Deep South Classic also provides college coaches with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the national scene at past Deep South Classics, and more will gain fame this spring.

HOUSING REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be eligible to compete in the 2010 Deep South Classic, all housing needs for the event must be completed here. You will have an option to make reservations online, by fax or by phone.

FAST FACTS: All travel teams must arrive Thursday, April 15th, for mandatory team registration and NCAA presentation for all players and staff coaches. Registration sessions begin at 3pm, ending at 10pm. All teams should make departing flights Sunday April 18th, after 6pm. If flying, please use Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).

How to Register

The tournament registration process has been developed to provide all of your registration, payment, team roster, bracket information, game schedule and game scores online.

Begin the registration process by completing a simple online form and creating your own User ID and Password. You may take as much time as you need to complete your application. You have the ability to return at any time and work with your application until you are ready to submit payment.

Please note that the application is not deemed submitted until it has been submitted and your $849 registration fee has been paid.

Cancellation Policy:

No refunds will be issued. Credit will be given for another calendar event in 2010.
